Quizes galore (Thanks MallyMoodle) ;)

Well, I've been at work since 7:45am this morning because of experiments, but now I've got time to burn till 5pm...lol! So what do I do? yes, that's right...I went to MallyMoodle's blog and found the quiz section to entertain myself with. So, apparently I'm a fortune cookie & Chocolate Mocha & Orange Cheeze cake (YUM)! What are you? ;)...and there's more...yes this is really really addictive...especially when you are bored!

You Are a Fortune Cookie

You're a rather normal person, except that you have extraordinary luck in life.

People want to be around you (even when they're a little sick of you), in hopes of being lucky too!

You Are a Chocolate Mocha and Orange Cheesecake

Enthusiastic and intense, there's so much you love in the world... it's hard to do it all.

You are good at getting things to mix - friends, flavors, hobbies. You're the master of fusion!

What Kind of Cheesecake Are You?

Your Seduction Style: Au Natural

You rank up there with your seduction skills, though you might not know it.

That's because you're a natural at seduction. You don't realize your power!

The root of your natural seduction power: your innocence and optimism.

You're the type of person who happily plays around and creates a unique little world.

Little do you know that your personal paradise is so appealing that it sucks people in.

You find joy in everything - so is it any surprise that people find joy in you?

You bring back the inner child in everyone you meet with your sincere and spontaneous ways.

Your childlike (but not childish) behavior also inspires others to care for you.

As a result, those who you befriend and date tend to be incredibly loyal to you.

What Kind of Seducer Are You?

You Are a Chocolate Cake

Fun, comforting, and friendly.

You are a true classic, and while you're not super cutting edge, you're high quality.

People love your company - and have even been known to get addicted to you.

Visiting SeBear @ Macedon (24.6.07)

SeBear had generously invited the biomed crew up to her relatively new mansion at the Bolobek Lake Estate in Macedon a few weeks ago. So today Markdod, our designated driver (thank you Markdod!) picked up Taba and me round 9:45amish and we began on our mini road trip to Macedon ;) There were lots of chit chat along the way and also very tasty banana cake. I actually woke up too late to have proper breaky...so thanks Markdod...once again you cooking saved my rumbling stomach!

After an hour or so of driving and getting lost a tiny bit...we finally arrive at
SeBear's lovely new house! It was amazing inside with lots of beautiful decorations all round. The place had transformed from just wooden frames with concrete floors and a ladder leading to the 2nd floor (last time I visited the building site) to a magnificent house with nice wooden floor boards, a "WOW" staircase, beautiful furniture & interior design. I have to say...the Berrimans have done a super duper job! Every room I saw and every corner I turned, I was like "OMG...I love this place...I want!" (if it wasn't for the fact that it takes about an hour to get to the CBD...I would love to live here). After raiding SeBear's pantry and making lots of tea, we decided to drive up to Daylsford and have a poke around. The weather was freezing....I knew it was going to be colder inland....but I didn't know it was going to be THIS COLD. It was extremely chilly and every time there was a breeze (even if it was a little one)...you could really feel the chills to your bones. Daylsford was another 45mins drive from Macedon...so no need to say, by the time we got there....we were STARVING! So we had a little walk around town and found a nice bakery to have lunch. Most people opted for the pies (which looked and smelt really delicious) but I was so cold that I just wanted hot soup...so I got the pumpkin soup which was quite tasty I must admit....I wouldn't rate it much lower than my mums.

We all headed to the Daylsford Sunday market after our stomachs were all satisfied. The market wasn't so great...some stalls just had random junk that people don't' want (which is fair enough), there were a couple of gloves/socks stalls, some soap stalls and there was one really funny stall owned by some asians....and they were selling just your everyday soy sauce and Asian cooking sauces....(lol), I guess you don't get that kind of stuff in their super markets???! oh, and there was a crazy extreme bogan lady that was singing while looking out of her mind...and I think Taba got scared. I bought some nice smelling lemon incense and a jar of orange rhubarb jam for mum. It was funny coz after buying the jam.....i realized that the used by date was "March 07"....hm....so i was a bit worried. I went back and asked the lady about it and she was just like....oh that....that's not a big deal...the lady that was making the jam was really really tired, staying up till really late making the jam...so it's just a typo...blah..blah....She wasn't exactly that convincing....and i was constantly like "um.....so what's the date meant to be"....and she just kept going on about how the jam lady was really tired etc....then eventually she said that the expiry date was suppose to be "March 08".....to be honest...i don't know how much i should believe her....but I so CBFed at the time so just said ok....then left. So if my family gets sick after we eat this jam.....DON'T TRUST THESE MARKET PEOPLE IN DAYLSFORD!

After the Sunday market we headed to the Convent Gallery to have a quick look around then headed to a nice chocolate cafe (sorry I can't remember the name of this place). Apparently their "decadent hot
chocolate" is AMAZING....but I opted for the coffee coz I wanted some of their lemon flan. I couldn't handle a tall glass of full on hot chocolate with double cream and the flan together...just seemed too rich. This decision I later regretted a little because it just looked so good and seeing everyone else sipping on their "decadent hot chocolate" made me really want some! *sigh* maybe next time. Nonetheless, the coffee and lemon flan was delicious! Time was flying by (i guess this is what happens when you have a good time) and before long it was time to head back to SeBear's so we could all head back to Melbourne.

However, after another 45
mins drive back to Se's place....we all decided that we needed more tea....and Alice (the fire starter) made us a cosy fire...so the marshmallows came out along with the assorted biscuit/snacks tub. We had fun toasting marshmallows or licorice in my case (don't try it...it doesn't work...just use the microwave). In summary, lots of eating & tea drinking (jeeze...surprise surprise) and just general catching up....and teasing Markdod heaps about her boi (lol). It was a fantastic day and I hope we all do it again soon! Oh, and before i forget...shame on the boys....for not showing up!!

Ginger's 22nd @ Eurotrash (22.06.07)

So I woke up on Friday morning feeling totally crap because my stupid cold just decided to get worse out of all days! I dragged myself to uni as per usual and decided that I was going to get all my work done quick, so that i could go home early after the ACB student society AGM for some much needed sleep before Ginger's 22nd Birthday bash at Eurotrash.

The
AGM was funny because hardly any students showed up. It was like all the honours students in ACB just decided that Friday was the day that they were all going to slack off - bar two of them (good on you girls), I don't think MallyMoodle was too impressed being the president and all. Hey, but no one was going to complain because this meant more free pizza for the rest of us ;) John, Kirsty and I really made the most of this "student society" AGM! and I'm pretty sure that there were enough pizzas left over for Addy's lunch and probably dinner on Sat.

So I headed home after lunch and basically just passed out on my bed for bout 2hrs and woke up thinking that it was actually Saturday. I was that refreshed! I got ready for
Eurotrash, ate basically half of a family size apple blueberry pie (mmm......) for dinner and headed to PAs to say hey to Mars and ACB work peeps. I think all the sugar in the pie really made me super duper hypo...because I couldn't stop fidgeting the whole way in on the train. While walking down Grattan St i thought..."hey this is great, I'm so pumped up for a good night of hardcore dancing....hm...I'll just top this feeling off by having a long black...yay...caffeine". So you can really imagine that by the time i got to PAs....i was pretty bouncy and I just wanted to go dancing. We sat around and chatted for a while....people drank beer...I had a tequila shot...and not before long it was time to head to Eurotrash!

Mars and I actually made a little stop at a kebab shop
because she was starving. So i watched her eat a kebab...It looked bloody sensational...so i think next time i get a kebab craving...I reckon I know where I'm going! So we finally get to Eurotrash bout 9:30pm and saw some of Ginger's mate there sitting down at the table...but the birthday girl was no where in sight! So I ring her and she was like "WHAT!!" people are there...ok i'm coming now....It turns out that she was pre-drinking at Manchuria, and probably having too much! Ginger finally shows and the party officially began! It was obvious that she was already tipsy if not drunk by the time she got to Eurotrash. I could tell because whenever anyone asks if she's already drunk...she blinks her eyes like 20 times, acts like a cute little girl and looks innocent and says "no". When adorable Gingers comes out....it's a sign! So through out the night people bought her cocktails and drinks...I did a jager bomb with her ;) Then Erin and Liz my high school mates showed so i kinda left Ginger and my Camera for a while to chat and drink with them. OMG by the time I came back to see her maybe 30 mins later....she was so so so so drunk....in total koala mode! When she gave you a hug standing up....she's literally hanging off you and swaying like there was no tomorrow! It was kinda of really cute actually. So guys, no need to say...as pathetic as this sounds...she was home by 11pm!!!! Nicky offered to take her home because she was just so drunk and sleepy that she started to fall asleep at the bench, with the bar people looking like they wanted to kick her out (lol). Even when PowPow and I tried to get her to have a choof with us, she just couldn't stand! So John the painter and Nicky carried her to the car and that was the end of Ginger's 22nd b-day drinks. She totally beat my 23rd.....I mean from this you can really tell we are related, going hard early and all, the only difference being I got home by 1am after 11 jager bombs in 3hrs. The funniest thing is that a couple of hours later, I bumped into two of her good uni mates who had just rocked up. They were confused and didn't know where Ginger was so I broke the bad news to them...Bec looked like she was in total shock and disbelieve when I told her. She actually held that face for about 5 mins straight as well...was pretty hilarious!
So after speaking to Ginger today....she confirms that she remembers nothing......and that apparently she puked in her sleep because she woke up with vomit all over her bed and had to relocate during the course of the night (YEW!).
hahahahaaa.....I'm just glad that as her big sis I can tease her about it like there is no tomorrow!
You know I luv you lots Ginger
xoxoxoxoxoxox hugz and hope you had a bloody good 22nd birthday ;) For more photos from Ginger's 22nd @ Eurotrash visit:

Wow...Picasa is ultra mad!

Excellent break through with all this computer and photo gallery business :) I have this freebie program called Picasa and it's totally sick! It allows you to do loads of kool shtuff...and one of them happens to be a web photo gallery, which is super sweet!!! Yes, that's right...this program is so user friendly even I "the computer retard" can navigate it! BONUS!!

So if people want to download proper un-resized (i really should stop making words up) photos or simply just check out all the photos from a certain event, just go to the corresponding web album addy at the bottom of each entry. OR this is the general addy to my web album http://picasaweb.google.com.au/dancinghula
I've also posted all the photos from the previous pre-blog outings there too.
Enjoy!
So happy now ;)

peace out

My Computer Retardedness is Confirmed...

Ok, so after speaking to MallyMoodle today...my total computer retardedness (is this even a word?) is confirmed. It turns out that I can add a lot more pictures to my blog than just 5. Having just admitted that, I have to confess that I just spent like half an hour trying to make collages with my photos...and failed miserably coz i didn't like any of it. So I think I might give Adobe Photoshop a pass and just set up another free photo site for people to download photos from. Shutterfly was suggested...so I'll check that out and get on to it eventually.
Not happy Jan......

arrggghhhh.......F**k

Jesus....i'm so freaking fustrated right now. Not only am I a total computer retard (why the hell am I doing this to myself??), but my internet is slow as hell...and this freaking stupid blog site won't let me do the shtuff I want to do with photos.....i just tried for 15 bloody minutes to try and add photos to one of the entries I was writing...and it just won't f**king let me. arrggghhhh.......................................................................................man, so f**kin' spent.

Click Click (15.6.07)

Man.....i can hardly remember click click already....this'll teach me to not be such a lazy ass, and blog closer to the actual date of happenings. Lets see....there's heaps of photos...so I'll just let them do all the talking this time round. Here's a quick summary....It was a kool joint....somewhat felt like a castle with all the stone walls..multiple rooms and high wooden beams. Come to think of it, this place would actually be a good place for a masquerade or some type of horror vampire ball. The crowd was very friendly....mostly alternative and kinda under-age. However, I must say it was a marked improvement from The Balcony in terms of crowd and music!! We met some of PowPow's mates and just grooved the night away. As per usual.....there were lots of camera moments....and some of the crowd were so friendly that they decided that they would like to be in our snaps too (lol). enjoy the photos :) Oh, and Ginger's feet were so sore towards the end of the night we danced "around" her shoes for a while. However, the funnies thing was her walking all the way from King to Swanston St with no shoes on for most of the way until PowPow decided to take pity on her and give her one of his shoe.

The Balcony (15.6.07)...Wog galore

So after a whole day of shopping with Ginger & PowPow we ended up going to The Balcony coz Ginger's uni mates had her b-day party. We were early...so went to a nearby pub first to wait on her friends. No need to say....us being photo whores and camera obsessed...we started taking random shots to pass time by.

OMG...there's one thing I have to say about balcony...i have never seen so many wogs in one place in my life! It was hilarious....t'was like the weekly party ground for all wogs of the Dandenong, Noble Park etc...areas. What can i say....I guess wogs will be wogs. The music was commercial as can be, the guys think they are top shit...dancing as camp as possible with their ultra sleazy moves (lol). One of the bar girls was really nice and let us put our coats behind the bar coz there were no cloak rooms....and surprise surprise...she turned out to be "The Dodgy Curry's" little sis (it's such a small small world)! So no need to say....we stayed for a couple of hours until PowPow really couldn't stand it any more....then headed to Click Click.

KEd's dinner party (15.6.07)

Well my lovely undergrad. biomed. buddies Kylie & Ed aka "KEd" (yes, they are such a cute couple) decided to have another one of their absolutely fabulously gourmet dinner parties for all us biomeds to finally catch up and chill-lax (Good on you guyz)!

It was
super duper to see everyone again and just eat and chat. For all those people who don't know me well enough...yes, you can kind of say that "food is the way to my heart" (well...one of the major routes anyway lol)!

Kys
is quite the cook i must say...she never fails to
impress. This time round KEd were quite the pizza chef, and by home made i mean home made dough...the whole works. It looked amazing and tasted amazing too. Check out the photo of her massive pizzas .....mmm......yum!! So, apart from the glorious food which included Markdod's extra creamy King Island Bree and my well rescued grilled eggplant dip (thanx Markdod), it was great to see the boyz and their try hard moustaches (lol). It was a great night for all and of course the next day there was no need to consume any sort of edible food ;) Thanx KEd! I luv you guys xox

What can I say...I'm no longer a blog virgin

Well.....to convince my friends that I'm actually not that much of a "all talk and no actions" girl, I've decided that this is IT. I've finally sat my ass down not only just in front of my laptop, but a blogging site after endless months of talking about blogging!
So why? why has it taken me forever? I guess apart from the fact that this actually requires "writing" (English has never been my forte), I'm not a very computer orientated person and whenever I'm actually on the net i just get really distracted doing other shtuff. But this is why I am blogging! I've just recently bought my very much beloved sexy Canon Ixus 70, so this is an excellent way for all my buddies to grab photos instead of me having to send it to them all the time! I also realized that now that I'm working full time....I've had lots of time to do a lot of guilt free partying. Yes, that's right...no more exams, reading papers, writing reports or studying (not mentioning the $$$$ factor...i can actually AFFORD to go out and have a bloody good time). Sadly, i also have to admit the ageing factor...yes *sigh* my memory is not what it used to be. I can hardly remember what i did last weekend and it's only Monday.
So basically I'm having such a fun time at the moment it will be just wrong to forget! So here we go......lets see if i can actually keep this up ;) (for my sake lol)........ciao
